Located in a peaceful area, this hotel is a great spot if you're looking for a place away from the city. the on-site restaurant is top-notch, serving traditional German dishes, including a very tasty Wiener Schnitzel, and the included breakfast offers a wide variety of options like scrambled eggs, fruits, cereals. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with adjustable temperature. the Wifi is excellent in the reception building, although toiletries such as shampoo and conditioner are not provided.

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional breakfast at Hotel Gasthof Schutzen. The variety of options, including traditional German dishes, made for a delightful start to my day. Additionally, the on-site restaurant offered delicious meals at reasonable prices. The location of the hotel was ideal, providing a peaceful retreat away from the bustle of big cities. Even without air conditioning during a heat wave, my stay was still comfortable. The room was clean and modern, and I could easily adjust the temperature. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Very comfortable bed and pillows, and the breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options. The location was perfect, just a short walk to many nearby shops and restaurants.

The room was quite small and there was no air conditioning. It got quite stuffy at night, but thankfully the windows opened to let in some fresh air.

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. We also enjoyed the central location, and being able to walk around easily. Plus, the staff was friendly and accommodating.

There were a few minor issues, such as the absence of toiletries in the room and poor WiFi connectivity in some areas. there was an unpleasant smell in one of the buildings where we stayed, and on one occasion, the cleaning staff entered our room earlier than expected.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Best aspects were the central location, allowing us to walk everywhere easily, the delicious breakfast with a variety of options, and the friendly and accommodating staff. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel and the well-priced restaurant on-site were a plus.
